What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand aggregate traffic. Related storage such as localStorage may be used for the same purposes (for example, remembering your cookie choice).
How Content Lighthouse uses cookies
We use essential cookies/storage required for basic site behaviour (such as storing your cookie preference) and, only if you Accept on the banner, analytics cookies to understand aggregate page views. Rejecting optional cookies does not block consultations pages or forms.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
content_lighthouse_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for the cookie banner | localStorage until cleared | Content Lighthouse |
cl_session_required | Essential stability flag used by the host where applicable | Session | Site host |
_cl_analytics | Optional aggregate page-view measurement when accepted | 6 months | Content Lighthouse (first-party) |
Exact analytics implementation may vary with hosting; optional analytics run only after Accept.
Managing or disabling cookies
Use the banner choices on first visit. You can clear site data in your browser settings to reset the preference and see the banner again. You may also block cookies entirely in your browser; essential site pages remain readable, though preference memory will not persist.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may request resources from Google Fonts. Those requests can expose your IP to Google under their policies. We do not embed third-party advertising cookies.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies does not remove access to consultations, rates, or the contact form. Disabling all cookies/storage may reset your banner preference on each visit.
